So many nice people

Friday night i went out in Messina and met these cool guys.

With them we sang karaoke and drank lots of beer in one bar. Then they bought some food for me. And later we headed to the night club were was a lots of people. There we drank tequila shots and coctails and danced.
It was a fucking good night.

I slept in Messina trainstaiton.

In the morning i still had one panini and a pack of cigarettes which was very nice.

This is a bit longer than the last road and that goes to salerno.

Later i met this man who made me a panini and gave me a cola.

Little later i met this man who invited me to his mother house where we ate pasta with 10 different vegetables and all kinds of other food

(There was a little more but i didnt took any photos)

When i had walked only 5 km this nice women pulled over and gave me food and 10 euros.

Then i went scalla beach. They say that this is one of the most beautiful beaches in Calabria county.

(Thats how quicly water goes deep) 

After the beach one guy handed me another panini from the car.

I slept in some park again and this time the sun didnt wake me up.

One women saw me sitting in a park and later came to me and gave me some food

Then i walked in the mountains again and with a midday sun i dont want to do that again.

I met one nice family with who i had a chat an then they gave me some food.

(They gave some more but i ate that on the spot)

Also lots of people want to take a picture with me.

I just had a nice chat with one young couple and they asked if i need anything and i said no thanks. 

Today i have started to say no for food because by bag and stomach are full.

But they still bought some chips.

And now i am in Palmi enjoying wifi and sunset.

Messina

Yesterday night i met another cool person. He had just finished reading the book " Into the wild "  and was so fascinated and enthusastic when he met a person like me.

So he took me to the nearest place that was opened at that time (which turned out to be a tobacco store) and bought all kinds of good things to me. 

Later i was feeling little bit sleepy and went to the bar to drink some coffe.

Then i ordered another one.

The last one was the big coffe (did you even notice the difference)

And with those chocolates and coffes i had enough energy to walk 40 km (last 7 was up to the mountains again)

I arrived in Messina 1 pm and been here since that.

I will also probably spend the night here and take the ferry to mainland tomorrow morning.

Tequila, whiskey, rum and pizza

Yeah, my life is still good.

Tuesday night around 10 pm I was soaking wet and cold so I went to one bar with intentions to drink coffe and warm up.
But i didnt even had a chance to ask for coffe when these guys asked me if i drink.

With them i drank 1 lemonchello, 2 tequila and 2 rum shots

When they left i sat another hour there and then came two other guys.
With them i drank 3 whiskey shots.

Tuesday night i went to bed at 4.30 am in Patti beach

Yesterday morning i went to one bar to order coffe and charge the battery again.

When i started to pay for the coffe, owner said that i would put my money back and gave me the coffe for free.

After i finished the coffe he asked if im hungry and i said yes.

Then he gave me two slices of pizza.

Also yesterday the road took me to the mountains which was very beautiful.

Today i slept in some kinda lemon farm.

I also bought food today and i spent 1.15 €

After that i started eating near the shop and one young women gave me 10 euros.

And about half an hour ago i got another 10 euros when one guy quickly pulled over and handed me 10 euros and then drove away (all the cars were waiting behind him).

Also i think that tomorrow i will arrive at messina port.

Nice morning

Yesterday it started raining pretty heavily and also the wind was very big. So I tought that i found a nice place to sleep behind the supermarket.
Well, it turned out that it was a elementary school.
My morning wake up call was kids gathering in front of my tent until the teachers called them back.

Few minutes later the policearrived and they were realy nice to me again. Said that its not a good place to sleep, checked my passport and whished me a good trip.

Also that night my sign was destroyed by the rain and i was little bit sad about that because it had helped me so much already.

Luckily after 200 m of walking i found this.

And 15 minutes later i had a new sign.

Also i lost my toothbrush so i did some shopping. All together 3.70 €

I found some oranges to eat this time.

Today has been raining all day but fortunetly not so heavily and theres no wind.

First time I buy food

Yesterday it was very hard to find a place to sleep and when I checked the map I saw that there is no road sides to sleep for the next 10 km.
But luckily i found a park to sleep.

Later on the road i met one old man who has cycling all over in europe for almost two years now. So being old is not a good reason not to exercise.

Later i arrived in one small town and i felt hungry so for the first time i spent money on food ( it was only 1 euro ). I bought a little sandwich.

Few minutes later waitress came to me and gave me a free fanta which cheered up my day a little more.

Later i found near the road some lemon trees and collected few lemons to add lemon juice to tne water so i could get some vitamins.

Now im in some kinda small town again and im gone move to the next town soon.

Also it will probably start to rain tonight which is not good.
